Adding Topics
There are a couple of ways to add Topics. The first way is to add them when creating or editing a sermon.
- Once you are editing an event, navigate to Topics in the right sidebar.
- Select from the Most Used Tags of topics by clicking on the link – OR –
- Enter a new Topic name and press Enter on your keyboard or click the Add button.
Another way to add Topics in bulk is to add them in the Topics area. You can also add their image here.
- Once in the Pure Church admin area, select Sermons in the sidebar.
- Select Topics.
- Add the name of the new Topic. The slug will be automatically populated.
- Add a description (for your own use. This is not displayed anywhere on the website.)
- Click the + symbol to add the Topic image.
- Press enter or click the Add New Topic button.
Editing Topics
- Once in the Pure Church admin area, select Sermons in the sidebar.
- Select Topics.
- Select the Topic you want to edit.
- Make your changes.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Update.
Deleting Topics
There are several ways to delete Topics.
- Once in the Pure Church admin area, select Sermons in the sidebar.
- Select Topics.
- Select the Topic you want to delete.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Delete. This should be in red lettering.
Alternatively, you can delete Topics from the Topics page.
- Once in the Pure Church admin area, select Sermons in the sidebar.
- Select Topics.
- Hover over the Topic you want to delete and select Delete.
You can bulk edit Topics and delete multiple Topics at once.
- Once in the Pure Church admin area, select Sermons in the sidebar.
- Select Topics.
- Check the box next to each Topic you want to delete.
- Scroll to the top and click Bulk Actions. Select the Delete option.
- Click Apply to delete all selected Topics.
