Text Editor

The Text Editor is a simple text module. It is mainly used for adding paragraphs of text.

Here is an example of a Text Editor module:

Adding a Text Editor module & Step-By-Step Instructions

  1. You can add a Text Editor by first navigating to the page you want. 

    Option A: Select Launch Page Designer from the Page admin (when viewing the admin side of the website). – OR –  
    Option B: Select Page Designer from the top navigation bar (when viewing the public-facing page)
  2. Click the + Symbol in the upper right hand corner.  
  3. Under the Modules tab (with Standard Modules selected), scroll down to view the Text Editor module.
  4. Select the Text Editor module and drag it onto the page where you want to add it. 
  5. Release the mouse to place the Text Editor module.
  6. Under the General tab, you can change the text.
  7. Under the Style tab, you can set a specific text Color, Typography, Style & Spacing or Text Shadow.
  8. Under the Advanced tab, you can set additional Spacing, Visibility, Animation and HTML elements. 
  9. If you’re finished, click the blue Done button in the upper right hand corner of the website.
  10. Select Publish to make your changes public. 

Editing Text Editor Modules

  1. You can edit a Text Editor by first navigating to the page you want. 

    Option A: Select Launch Page Designer from the Page admin (when viewing the admin side of the website). – OR –   
    Option B: Select Page Designer from the top navigation bar (when viewing the public-facing page)
  2. Hover over the Text Editor module you want to edit. A blue or orange box should appear around the module.
  3. Click on the Wrench icon or anywhere inside the blue outline to make your changes.
  4. Click the blue Done button in the upper right hand corner of the website.
  5. Select Publish to make your changes public. 

Duplicating a Text Editor Module

  1. You can duplicate a Text Editor by first navigating to the page you want. 

    Option A: Select Launch Page Designer from the Page admin (when viewing the admin side of the website). – OR –    
    Option B: Select Page Designer from the top navigation bar (when viewing the public-facing page)
  2. Hover over the Text Editor. A blue or orange box should appear around the module.
  3. Click the Duplicate icon at the top left of the module as shown below:

Deleting Text Editor Modules

  1. You can delete a Text Editor by first navigating to the page you want. 

    Option A: Select Launch Page Designer from the Page admin (when viewing the admin side of the website). – OR –    
    Option B: Select Page Designer from the top navigation bar (when viewing the public-facing page)
  2. Hover over the Text Editor module you want to edit. A blue or orange box should appear around the module.
  3. Click the X icon to delete.
  4. When the dialog box appears, click OK.
