Tags

Adding Tags

There are a couple of ways to add Event Categories. The first way is to add them when creating or editing an event.

  1. Once you are editing an event, navigate to Tags in the right sidebar.
  2. Enter a new tag name and press Enter on your keyboard or click the Add button

Another way to add categories in bulk is to add them in the Tags area.

  1. Once in the Pure Church admin area, select Events in the sidebar.
  2. Select Tags.
  3. Add the name of the new tag. The slug will be automatically populated.
  4. Select a parent event category (not recommended).
  5. Add a description (for your own use. This is not displayed anywhere on the website.)
  6. Press enter or click the Add New Tag button.

Editing Tags

  1. Once in the Pure Church admin area, select Events in the sidebar.
  2. Select Tags.
  3. Select the tag you want to edit.
  4. Make your changes.
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Update.

Deleting Tags

There are several ways to delete event categories.

  1. Once in the Pure Church admin area, select Events in the sidebar.
  2. Select Tags.
  3. Select the tag you want to delete.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Delete. This should be in red lettering.

Alternatively, you can delete tags from the Tags page.

  1. Once in the Pure Church admin area, select Events in the sidebar.
  2. Select Tags.
  3. Hover over the Event Categories you want to delete and select Delete.

You can bulk edit Tags and delete multiple Tags at once.

  1. Once in the Pure Church admin area, select Events in the sidebar.
  2. Select Tags.
  3. Check the box next to each Tag you want to delete.
  4. Scroll to the top and click Bulk Actions. Select the Delete option.
  5. Click Apply to delete all selected Tags.
