Tags
Adding Tags
There are a couple of ways to add Event Categories. The first way is to add them when creating or editing an event.
- Once you are editing an event, navigate to Tags in the right sidebar.
- Enter a new tag name and press Enter on your keyboard or click the Add button
Another way to add categories in bulk is to add them in the Tags area.
- Once in the Pure Church admin area, select Events in the sidebar.
- Select Tags.
- Add the name of the new tag. The slug will be automatically populated.
- Select a parent event category (not recommended).
- Add a description (for your own use. This is not displayed anywhere on the website.)
- Press enter or click the Add New Tag button.
Editing Tags
- Once in the Pure Church admin area, select Events in the sidebar.
- Select Tags.
- Select the tag you want to edit.
- Make your changes.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Update.
Deleting Tags
There are several ways to delete event categories.
- Once in the Pure Church admin area, select Events in the sidebar.
- Select Tags.
- Select the tag you want to delete.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Delete. This should be in red lettering.
Alternatively, you can delete tags from the Tags page.
- Once in the Pure Church admin area, select Events in the sidebar.
- Select Tags.
- Hover over the Event Categories you want to delete and select Delete.
You can bulk edit Tags and delete multiple Tags at once.
- Once in the Pure Church admin area, select Events in the sidebar.
- Select Tags.
- Check the box next to each Tag you want to delete.
- Scroll to the top and click Bulk Actions. Select the Delete option.
- Click Apply to delete all selected Tags.
